ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Business Administration offers four programmes, namely, Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Master in Business Administration (MBA), Master in Human Resources Management (MHRM), and a Hosted programme BA (Hons) Business Management with London South Bank University.
These programmes are designed to enable students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their careers as professionals in the fields of Business and Management. The programmes in the department does not only focus upon theoretical dimensions but also on applied practice.
The Department prepares our graduates for a range of career paths within their chosen fields with extensive links to relevant industries and business communities.

The Department of Business Administration programs’ is among few departments ranked by subjects in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 in Kingdom of Bahrain. It is ranked by subjects 351-400 in QS World University Rankings 2023.
The Department fosters Entrepreneurship and Innovation through an ecosystem created through the Business Incubation Center. Our students benefit from the activities organized by the Business Incubation Center and competitions hosted by Tamkeen and INJAZ.
Our students won the Best Company for the year 2019 at Injaz Bahrain, the Boeing Stem Challenge Award by Injaz AlArab 2019 Product of the Year Award by Injaz AlArab, and took the 2nd place in the Youth Solutions Initiative organized by the Arab Youth Centre in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth & Sports – Bahrain – 2019
Business Administration Students are the champions of Bahrain Climate Connection Programme
Faculty research is published in high-quality journals indexed in Scopus and ISI, including International Journal of Organizational Analysis, Journal of Economic Cooperation and Development, International Review of Management and Marketing, Management Research Review, Journal of Strategic Marketing, European Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Sciences.
