Within the activities of the Faculty of Law, and based on the mission of the university, and in order to create sustainable relations between the university and the relevant external parties, a scientific symposium entitled “The Impact of Intellectual Property on the Protection of Scientific Production” was held on Tuesday, 11/6/2024, at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, which was organized by the Faculty of Law in cooperation with the Bahrain Intellectual Property Society, where the discussion was moderated by Dr. Amjad Mansour / Associate Professor of Civil Law, and lectured by Dr. Naseem Al-Shawawra Acting Head of Department of Private Law/Assistant Professor of Commercial Law,and Dr. Hanan Al-Mawla, member of the Bahrain Intellectual Property Society / Assistant Professor of Civil Law / University of Bahrain, through several axes included the concept of scientific production and its images within the framework of educational institutions and the rights of innovators within the framework of scientific production, as well as intellectual property protection as a catalyst for creativity and scientific production and a catalyst for investment in intellectual capital, and that the existence of an intellectual property policy in scientific and research institutions is a legal guarantor of intellectual production and investment.

This was a distinguished meeting that was praised by everyone, subjects, lecturers, students and participants from the faculty professors and outside

The college aimed to educate them all about the importance of intellectual property in protecting

Scientific production and encouraging them to adhere to these principles in their research and innovations.
