Homeland of Pride: A Spirit of Loyalty and Belonging – The University Celebrates National Holidays with Pride and Joy
In the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the Social Programs and Community Affairs Directorate in the Capital Governorate, the University celebrated the glorious National Day and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa assuming the reins of power.
The University organized the third edition of the Homeland of Pride event to commemorate this cherished occasion for Bahrainis. The celebration was attended by Professor Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Hatem Masri, University President, along with a distinguished group of academic and administrative staff and university students.
The festival featured a variety of activities with broad student participation, reflecting Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage. Highlights included the traditional Bahraini Ardah performance, interactive games, and entertainment activities that engaged attendees.
Additionally, the event hosted an Entrepreneurial Market, where University students showcased their innovative projects. Food trucks stationed in the university’s outdoor area added a festive and vibrant touch to the celebration.
