College of Law Team Wins 1st Place in the National Qualifying Rounds of the Eleventh Arab Moot Court Competition
In a remarkable achievement that reflects academic excellence and legal prowess, the College of Law team has secured first place in the national qualifying rounds of the Eleventh Arab Moot Court Competition. As a result, they have become the official representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the final rounds, which will be held at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman from 14th to 16th April 2025.
The victorious team comprises a group of distinguished law students: Hassan Jaafar Milad, Hussein Ali Ghulom, Jalal Jaafar Maki, and Hudhaifa Qasim Swalha, under the supervision of Dr Ghaith Al Khassawneh, Acting Head of Legal Clinic Unit and Academic Staff in Department of Private Law, and Associate Professor. During his meeting with the students, Professor Hatem Masri, the University President, expressed his pride in this achievement, commending the studentsโ performance throughout the competition and the efforts made by the academic supervisor leading to this well-deserved success. He also thanked the ompetitionโs organising committee for their efforts in arranging the event and fostering academic collaboration among Arab universities.
