The MIS Programme will equip students to:
- Provide students with advanced knowledge in the field of management information systems and the implementation and management of information systems within the modern digital business setting.
- Develop students’ digital skills to critically analyze business processes and situations and to implement relevant IS solutions that are required for a professional career in the management information systems.
- Perform a comprehensive review of information systems, and to understand how to use and implement enterprise systems as a platform for digital business.
- Extend students’ knowledge of the digital business environment by introducing students to know how to manage various information systems resources.
- Equip students with, technical, analytical, interpersonal, communication, business, ethical and other personal development, and lifelong learning skills to enable them to contribute ethically and in a socially responsible manner both in their professional role and to society at large.

–The fees may increase/decrease depending on the registered courses per semster.
–The tuition fees are paid every semester in three instalments: The First instalment when registering the courses and the Second instalment prior to the Mid-Term exams and the Third instalment prior to the Final Exams.
–Summer term is optional for the students to register , and in the event that the student registers courses for the summer semester, the value per Credit Hour is 92.7 BD, noting that the maximum hours to register is 9.

Admission Criteria:
- The student should obtain a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent certified by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain with an average of no less than 60% or equivalent.
- Students with averages below 60% may be admitted in the University, provided that they meet one of the following criteria:
- They are athletes and artists who represent the Kingdom of Bahrain internationally.
- Those with at least one year of practical experience following their secondary school certificate.
- In addition, the University Council has the right to decide on applicants with averages below 60%.
- The number of students admitted according to this point (2) can be no more than 5% of the admitted students.
- Applicants admitted to the programme from non-scientific secondary school track (or equivalent) should pass remedial courses determined by the Department.
English language Requirements:
- All students admitted to Computer Science Programme must attend the Compulsory English Test (specified by the University) to determine their English Level, according to the following:
- Students who scored between (0-34), must attend Elementary English (ENG097).
- Students who scored between (35-50), must attend Intermediate English (ENG098).
- Students who scored between (51-120), must attend Upper-Intermediate English (ENG111).
- The student is exempted from the courses (ENG097) and (ENG098) if they have obtained (5) or higher in an IELTS test, or 450 and higher in a TOEFL test.
