Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the College of Engineering has continued to provide its students with valuable industry experience through its summer internship program for the academic year 2020/2021 under the supervision of the Acting Head of Internship and Training Unit, Dr. Hamdy AlSayed. The Civil Engineering students were able to complete their internships at various organizations, including NOGA, Nass Contracting, AlKooheji Contracting, Kameshki & Sons Contracting and Trading. Meanwhile, virtual internships were arranged for the Architectural Engineering students. Despite the unusual circumstances, these internships provided students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world projects and gain valuable experience in their respective fields. At the end of the program, students were awarded certificates of completion from the host companies, recognizing their achievements and contributions to the organizations. The College of Engineering is proud to have supported its students in pursuing their professional development during these challenging times.
