The partnership between ASU and LSBU began in 2014 when the two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding to initiate academic collaboration. This agreement was the foundation for a successful partnership that has continued to grow and expand over the years.
One of the key outcomes of this partnership was the establishment of the College of Engineering at ASU, which started with offering two bachelor degree programmes in civil and architectural engineering. This was a significant milestone for the partnership, as it provided a platform for further collaboration and exchange between the two institutions.
Since the establishment of the College of Engineering, the partnership has continued to evolve and expand. ASU now offers six validated programmes across three colleges, with plans to offer more programmes in the future. This expansion of the partnership has provided students with more diverse study options and enhanced academic credentials.
