Students Thanked the University for the Book Delivery Initiative
As the pandemic situation of COVID-19 and the social distancing that impacted the possibility for students visiting the University and collecting their educational material, according to the direction led by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, for coping up with the current situation and raising the awareness for the need to support studentsโ in their educational journey. The university toke one step further by delivering the course materials to their studentsโ homes to facilitate the safety standards and the distance learning process.
Innovatively, the University started implementing a new mechanism to simplify the educational process and raise their safety ceilings during this challenging period. This is by offering several contemporary solutions, such as distance learning, the new call center, the technical support unit to assess student direct inquires, and now the course material home delivery.
Prof Ghassan Aouad, the University President, stressed on the importance of keeping student education objectives more smoothly attained. And this is by enabling further services that simplify the journey during the current outbreak that the Kingdom and the entire world are going through.
The President of the Student Council, Mohamed Janahi, also praised the university administration on their generous initiatives in keeping the studentsโ interests among its top priorities in delivering knowledge more effectively, while reducing the educational burden to the maximum.
