Two awards winning by the University Students at the level of the Arab world on the thirteenth session of the Arab Injaz Competition

Two awards out of ten have been achieved by the University students during the thirteenth session of the Arab Injaz Competition, for their intelligent application of “Al Fazaa”. They were classified as the best offered service to be presented among the three main awards by Injaz Al Arab, along with the Boeing competition award from Boeing International Corporation.

The students have been evaluated by a highly distinguished panel of representatives from international companies and their invention was appointed based on its technological exclusiveness and the consideration of social responsibility standards.

Al Fazaa is a smart application developed by six students that allow users to identify comprehensive services related to car maintenance from workshops and spare parts shops, laundries, tire shops and agencies, in addition to the on road-maintenance service. It provides the driver with information about the nearest maintenance and emergency security centre.

They also won the annual competition for 2019 Entrepreneurs on their smart application, that was organized by Injaz Bahrain under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Alkhalifa, Chairman of Injaz Bahrain.

Professor Ghassan Aouad, the University President praised their achievement by highlighting students’ abilities to compete and win local and regional competitions. He also mentioned that they have the spirit of innovation and creativity to represent Bahrain in international and regional forums in various fields.
